Yep, 6 o'clock hour. He said he never reported it but had it on pretty good authority that Botterill nixed it due to mid round picks. He didn't explicitly say Ehlers but it would have been either Ehlers or Laine |

I mean at this point I hope they only win a few more games, and the games they do lose they are in it from start to finish and they are entertaining.
Weโve come this far now, might as well go for Beniers, Guenther, Eklund - Pegullaville

There's 3 forwards and 3 D that are all pretty comparable imo. Benier, Eklund, Guenther for forwards Power, Edvisson, Hughes for D. Clarke on the fringe.
Edit thought you meant for the draft. my bad |

I would think that Montour fit Granato's system way more than Risto. Fast, attacking D... the latter isn't Risto - Slump Buster
Adams identity for his players are intensity, fast and relentless. Risto is most of that, like it or not. Now whether or not he can replace him with a guy like him who can actually play defense is the million dollar question |

I posted what the forward roster looks like for next season as of now because it both gives a clear idea of where improvements are needed and it also comes into play regarding the expansion draft.
Here are my 7 forwards I would protect for the expansion draft:
Eichel, Skinner, Reinhart, Mittelstadt, Olofsson, Asplund, Thompson
I understand those that would want to protect Girgensons over Thompson.
I only took Thompson for the higher upside hope and due to the injury Girgensons had. - kingcong39
Obviously I like great28 but, i think tage has more value and upside at this point.
Good post, what about okposo? |

Between the scout-o-matic 9000, the possibility of dropping to 3rd even if we suck the most and just general Sabres luck, I'd rather see them pull this out of the fire to whatever extent possible.
We need to start making sacrifices to the hockey gods to atone for our tanking sins.

I like granado to continue to coach the Sabres next season. We need a teacher. Roster will be young.
Mike Ramsey went back to Minnesota to run the family sports equipment store. If I remember correctly.
Wanted to be with family, of course that's 15 years ago... |

He hits so much because he never has the puck. But yeah I guess he's tough. |

How many 'big' decisions are made at the TDL? I think Anthony Mantha was the only one. - TheSabresTaco
Those big decisions can also be extensions: Iafallo, Laughton, Perason, Demko, Binnington, etc.

Binnington was the worst decision - gerbe75pts
Binnington doesn't hold a candle to Murray. If we think our guys are stealing from the Pegula's look at what he's doing to Melnyk's pocket book. Melnyk may never dive into FA again.
Also fun little bit, got into it with Pitt fan saying we should have given Ullmark and a 2nd (turned into Peterka) for Murray. Said it was a good deal, and Buffalo needed a goalie. Told him I wouldn't have traded Ullmark for Murray straight up, 2/3 poopty years he's had. I guess if you get carried to two cups by two top 10 centers in their prime you get to command everything. Circled back, he wouldn't eat his crow. |

watching him play forward on the powerplay and he just mashes people in the corner when he gets the chance
and the beauty of him doing that when he's playing forward is that it isn't directly resulting in a scoring chance against
