Watch it be the Islanders, but it's two seconds and (frank)ing Zajac. |

Posted earlier sounds like the Sabres had something going with Winnipeg earlier today, but got put on hold by Winnipeg. Think it was Miller cause they called a few days ago about him. |

its true lol. theyve made it past the first round once, in 20 years.
they just exist and now they have a coach who likes to bench his star players all the time. |

I'd be surprised if hall brought more than (1) 2nd rounder and a low class prospect.
(2) 2nd's and a cap dump? |

You prob could get Seattle to take him if you add someone like laaksonen. They hit their cap and he’s gone in 2 years |

I know and it sucks too because it's a really passionate and loyal fanbase. The NHL did an excellent job establishing a brand and market here, the Arena district is built up and looks fresh, the arena atmosphere is excellent...
And I'm not even originally from Columbus, I don't understand why players don't seem to like it here... There's about 5 marquee places in the NHL and believe me, there's a lot worse places to be than Columbus. But that's besides the point.
They need a new coach first and foremost.

I’m confused as to how there are many insiders speculating that Hall may not bring back a first rounder yet Foligno and Savard have brought back first rounders in the past few days.
Either Jarmo is a wizard or Adams is useless and overplayed his hand.
Hopefully this is just me being impatient but I don’t have a good feeling about this |

I don’t buy 1st rders are more valuable this year. I would think they are less valuable with the crapshoot this draft year might be to playoff teams |

Maybe the details of the Foligno trade upped Kevin’s asking price 🤪 |

I think teams would be more willing to give up this years. I would take a 1st straight up and be happy. Get another prospect like Johnson in pipeline and be happy |

definitely less valuable this year. It was already considered a weaker draft (weakest since 2014) than most years, then you take in account the prospects were not scouted as often as most years. |

I was thinking the exact same thoughts - if these other guys got a 1st then why not Hall? While this is considered a buyer's market there are still lots of buyers out there and not a lot left on the shelves.
I wouldn't mind seeing Foligno here next year on a shorter deal. He seems like a real character guy that can still play. |

I wouldn't give up a first for Hall. That said, after the Islanders deal I thought it might be Monte and Hall for a 1st to the Panthers. That would have made sense to me. Guess the Panthers didn't like Hall that much |
