This reminds me of the posts in this forum when the flyers were up by 2 early on today. There is still a long way to go.

The sky is falling.

They've traded 2 of their UFAs, and who the hell wants Hutton, Irwin or Davidson?

McCabe and Lazar are hurt.

So they've pretty much got Ullmark, Hall, Sheahan and Rieder to try and deal.

Just hope he didn’t wait too long

Many people would be complaing that he panicked if he made trades before the weekend. It's a fine line.

Hoping Miller and Risto get moved as well but even moving all of the UFA’s to begin with is wishful thinking

Musical Chairs here. I'm afraid when the music stops, Adams will be selling for pennies on the dollar....

Most of the UFAs are worth nothing. If toronto preferred rittich to Ullmark what can KA do? It's just an auction. Hall is the real prize and I still think he gets it done.

Not sure I agree with this. Think most were pleased when he got rid of staal and Monty already

Even better. They've got 3 notable UFAs to move then.

If that means they let Hamilton walk and the Sabres sign him in the offseason that would be quite nice as well.

Yeah and nobody is trading for McCabe right now so it's 2 that are worth a damn

I still hope the Sabres can keep McCabe although that's neither here nor there

Carolina is huge on analytics. Them trading for Risto would be very ironic

Rieder probably gets a mid round pick, if anything at all. Wouldn't shock me to find out no one wanted him.

Ullmark truly is a wild card. Rittich got a 3rd. Linus is better than him. I'm sure Toronto didn't want to pony up, so they're banking on a hot Campbell to hold the fort for awhile and paid a price THEY can live with for a decent, but not great goalie in Rittich. Who else needs a goalie?

We're going to be OK w what we get for Hall, I think. Teams want him.

Tampa has been scouting us a lot recently.

Ullmark could be a fit there.

Perhaps they were looking at Risto/Montour before they made the move for Savard though

I would've traded for Savard over those two. Absolutely.

once Demko got 5 mil, Ullmark was getting north of 5 per
- homiedclown

Demko had a bennington type playoff run.

That's what got him paid.

I agree though, they are probably comparables.
Minus the durability and playoff experience

You are correct. They didn’t want to pay Briere and Drury? Not Darcy’s fault.
- c1067

It is just not those two, but yes it was darcy's fault.

Darcy's biggest problem was his ego.
