Because the alternative is you tell Jack his "1 team" isn't making a fair offer so he's gonna have to open his list to more teams or he's not going anywhere for 5 years

Now if you want to say Eichel is a pending UFA and will only go to the Rangers then you take the best you can get and move on just like they did with Hall
