All of Boston's injured players are on "regular" injured reserve, not long-term injured reserve. Ordinary IR creates an extra roster spot but doesn't provide any cap relief, so they would not have to move salary out to reactive them. Actually, reactivating any of their injured players would create cap space, since they'd also have to send a player back down to the taxi squad / AHL to free up the roster spot.
