I feel this way about all 3 of our 6 million dollar defensemen, Edler I will give a freebie to though.
Both Myers and Schmidt are overpaid by about 1.5 million and both need to be propped up by their partner.
Unfortunately, we are stuck with both Myers and Schmidt for 3 and 4 more years.

you're not wrong. the difference though is that i had this opinion of myers prior to his tenure here. his play since he got here has only confirmed what i thought.

with respect to schmidt, i thought he would be much better and he has not matched what i thought of him nor the player that i watched on LVK. i, in perhaps blind optimisim, chalk it up to a "bad season all around." schmidt's start on the team just happened to coincide with this clusterfcuk of a season. long way of saying, i think he gets better (just like the team as a whole.)

Nucker isn't very good at player evaluations. He has admitted looked at analytic numbers to evaluate players.
