I will probably get beat up for saying this.. but is there any chance Lindgren gets traded at some point this year or next? - mrn22
With how well his play compliments Fox, I wouldnt think so, but we have so many options now, it may be inevitable. |

Honestly we can trade defensemen as a pair for a top notch center. - aecliptic
on the roster we have Fox, Lindgren, Trouba, Miller. Waiting in the wings are Jones, Nils, Skinner, Robertson. None of the 4 players on our roster can or will be traded. I'd be really sad to see Nils or Jones go before they get a chance to play. Not sure Skinner and/or Robertson get us a good center. Something has to happen but i have no idea what |

you need some stay at home guys- he is an excellent skater, tough and the heart of a lion. I would never trade him if it were up to me. He is a better Girardi

I wonder if the Rangers are going to trade Brendan Smith because they feel like they could go with Bitetto-hajek again the next 4 games vs the Devils - jimbro83
Doesn't Bitetto still need almost 10 games to be expansion draft compliant? |

I said this again (to myself) watching the game last night - Lindgren's skating is way underrated! |

I was thinking the same last night. He is significantly faster than I thought and is rarely out of position. |

I think the pairing will look something like this when it's all said and done:
Lindgren-Fox
Miller-Nils
Jones-Trouba/Schneider
Stay at home/tough guy on each pairing and an offensive wizard on each pairing |

I think Touba has to get bought out at some point, say in 2 years. I'm no fan of the buyout, but it makes sense. |

Bennett to FLA for 2nd in 2022 and Emil Heineman (taken second round last year). Equivalent of two seconds. |

Not if he keeps playing like he has over the last 5-10 games - I like Bean Dips above. I think there is no room for Jones eventually and he gets moved

Solid move for Florida. Will still be an RFA and shouldn’t get much of a raise if any. Could see him doing well with a fresh start. |

We talked about this a couple weeks ago. Nils can play both sides effectively. He played the left side most of the year in the SHL. Not saying he'll do that at the NHL level, but flexibility is never a bad thing when constructing an NHL roster. |

so you can potentially pair him with Schneider and that would be an explosive and TOUGH blue line: the muscle would be Miller, Trouba, Lindgren and Schneider and slinging the puck- Fox, Nils and Miller (Miller can do it all) |

Yeah, what a snoozefest. Not just from a Ranger's perspective, but the entire league was lame. The deadline is such a dud now... |
