Bjork is a 3LW that will be able to handle the defensive responsibilities on the line and stay above the puck allowing Cozens/Mitts or whomever to go buck wild.
To me he makes Girgensons redundant as he’s cheaper and more or less provides the same value. - Pegullaville
I'm in for that. Apparently he played a lot of PK and is decent at it, so I understand the Girgs comparison and therefore redundancy. He's definitely faster than Zemgus and didn't fall down 11 times. |

I think the structure of our PK is more of an issue then the guys on it the PK.
Girgensons and Bjork are both very good defensively and both have trouble finishing.
Bjork is younger, faster, and cheaper.
Imo of course |

See ya, we'll hopefully - Buff36
If the cost to put him in the minors for a year is only a little over a mill I'd rather do that and just be done with it. |

I was all aboard the Hutton train when we signed him. But the guy is like Patrick Lalime bad.

$5.7 per is high, especially with him getting injured...again
i like the idea of a 2yr./$9.75M...gotta prove he can 1.) stay healthy and 2.) become a steady 45-50 game starter...the two go hand-in-hand with him - Michael Pachla
with his durability i think this number might be high.. i would put him in the 4-4.5 per year range for 2 years until he can stay healthy.. |

Don't think another team offers more? I would think he'd garner that offer from a number of teams, meaning we lose out. |

Bjork and Great28 is a pretty fair comparison by Flacco.
Not sure if bjork makes girgs expendable.
Seems like they would work well together.

He’s almost as injury prone as Eichel. Pass at that deal. |

I hope Okposo is not on the team next year.
IF they can shed Okposo, Skinner, Eakin and Miller.
That would be huge, |

I won’t argue that. I was thinking something along the lines of this for the bottom 6:
Bjork-Mittelstadt-Thompson
Girgensons-Asplund-Okposo |

Adams will give him what he wants. It is his history so far with overpaying Girg's by $700k each for 3 years, paying Tage about $500k too much and paying Eakin about $2.4 too much.
None of them independently is crazy bad, but collectively the provide a map.
Using the "relax it's only $700k" mantra expressed by many on here, there shall be zero complaining when he over pays and commits on Ullmark. None. |

Hope springs eternal.
I agree , hopefully they are gone.
Strangely, I would give skimmer another year to straighten out his game.
Other guys hopefully land in Seattle with a pick or 2. |

Not in the cap world we live in now. Most teams are going to have trouble just resigning their own guys, let alone offering large dollars to goalies. Not to mention, look at the two big goalie signings from last year in Murray and Markstrom. We might be outbid on term OR dollars, but I doubt on both from someone if it's true they want to keep him. Would be cool if he gave Buf last call if it comes to that. |

After watching both staal and Hall I was thinking they were just sandbagging it.
Now I realize they both aren't good anymore

I said as much when it happened.. But..
Counterpoint being Ralph wanted Eakin
and the other two with the way the cap would remain was hoping to possibly get a steal for 3 years as that would help offset some of the other spending he had no part in. I liked the VO contract. IMO he didn't have a choice with the Sam one. Ullmark should have been locked in a little longer, but they wanted to see what they had I guess. |

I still think that Staal was both sandbagging it and not good. I think Hall was actually trying but he has just fallen off a cliff.
That said... Hall was not good last night. He just looks lost out there.

One of the Bruins beat writers said it looked like Hall hasn't played a game in 9 days, and my response was he's looked like that all year.
I would have loved it if Bjork would have been able to bury that winner in OT

Skinner would be the only player worth taking a risk on next year. He is starting to put up some points again, I believe with some stability with linemates and a more offensive approach will reignite him. Krueger spent a year and a half trying to change a mustang into a plow horse. That damage needs to be wipped out of his system and be allowed to fly, just like Dahlin has.

Give a Granato a one year deal. If he sucks next year you are done with him. If team comes out great you sign him long term. No one is gonna steal him as mentioned. He will be under contract next year and isn’t gonna turn down a multi year deal offered if they are winning.
Win win for both parties this off season |

Don’t think you can dump skinner. But at least if you play him on 1st line he should be serviceable for next couple years |
