Do you guys think it's possible that Adams and Granato could build a relationship like Beane and McDermott? |

I think that's why I have Granato getting the full-time gig at 60% likely now

They have to get two goalies then. Ullmark and someone or two someones as good as Ullmark. And yes, they know what they have when he plays. I would be fine with close to 5 for a couple years. Long term also scares me there. - SDSabre
Say the Sabres go on a bizerk win streak finish 3rd last, end up picking 6th in complete Sabre fashion, I’d consider moving that pick for Gibson

Not saying he gets the job, but the guy really grows on you from the way he talks to his approach. He knows Hockey, been very good wherever he's coached. |

Wouldn't hate the hire, but I would hope they still interview a bunch of candidates |

I’d consider moving the pick for Hertl.
Then moving a few of the mid round picks we got at the deadline for Georgiev or Elvis.
Then take a run at Raanta in UFA |

i just have a feeling we are goin gto get an annoucement that he is the full time head coach before the end of the season.. |

That may be what they've done. If you'd prefer to have UPL playing games in Roch, and he could backup, could be a possibility. - Lunaion
Give Ryan Vinz a call. |

i can't imagine mid round picks gets you georgiev.. but if it does i would be all over it.. unless you mean two 2nds. maybe. |

They can only protect one goalie for expansion.
I feel like a 2nd rounder or even the two thirds could get Gerogiev.
They’d prolly have to pay as much to keep Seattle from taking him for free |

I’d like to interrupt this conversation just to say that Dylan Cozens is going to be one of the most exciting stars in the NHL someday

Even if Eichel doesn’t leave you could run Eichel-Hertl-Cozens/Mitts down the middle.
One of Cozens/Mitts moves to a top 6 wing spot.
Heck you could even move Hertl to LW on Cozens line |

Fair point. Do they take into consideration the "sans Eichel" factor? |

Like the way you think, I hope they are studying every team that might not be able to protect everyone they want. Could get some pieces for those extra picks we got. |

im all for it.. i would be reaching out and offering, i also think a few other teams would as well. i would throw a 2nd and a 4th to start and see where it goes. |

i thought Hertl was playing a lot of wing up till the last few seasons, wasn't he? |
