I think of Jack as Tyler Seguin - The_Inkwell
He's better then Seguin in every area except maybe pure scoring. Seguin has never even been on 50 assist point pace through 82. Eichel has done it once and been on pace 2 other times with a 48 sprinkled in 6 seasons vs 10. Goals per 82 are 31 to 30 Seguin, but honestly if you want to call Seguin a poor mans Eichel sure, but Eichel is far and away the superior player. |

Top 5 goalie for a mid tier center? The mid-tier center who averages .95 PPG. - TC4145
A goalie is as only as good as the defense in front of the goalie.
We could have prime hasek and he would get smoked with this current team
See the best teams in the league and see the goaltending correlate.

Drug-addled, prima Donna, often-injured, bad captain, overrated, overpaid BUM.
I also heard he likes the music of Billy Joel
Domi and a 2nd with half of Eichel's salary retained
That'll show him. Or us. Or somebody
Also I forgot chronic neck and back problems that will surely escalate so we should SELL NOW |

That rumor has been around for a few weeks.
The rumor was that he was in drug rehab in Colorado.
This was basically a rumor from another site with the guy “in the know” |

Well that neck injury is a thing to think about, depending on the Surgery. He's young and should recover, but it is something that will have taken into consideration. |

We will see though |

Eichel gets injured every year. Hasn’t had a full season yet and going on year #7. Trade him this offseason - Fattony1187
missed one game his rookie year and one game in last year's covid-shortened season (68 games)...however, he's had a tough go of it, no doubt |

I might get high enough to think Jack is a franchise player.

94, which is again less than 100. As I said years ago, because I'm not new to telling the truth about Jack eichel, he's a slightly better Derek Roy except that Derek Roy could Captain a team to the playoffs - lacaprup
derek roy was never a captain in buffalo...even when they were rotating by month...

Besides not being good enough to be a franchise player we can add injury-prone to the jack eichel dossier.
10 million dollars a year for a guy who is injured every season and still isn't a point per game player in the NHL after 375 games. - lacaprup

derek roy was injured most of the season which makes your take even more hilarious - robz228
And he worked his ass off to get back in the lineup because he had 1 thing Eichel doesn't: Heart.
I've already done my Eichel vs. Roy take. Seems an ancient lurker agrees.
Derek Roy may have been a power-bottom, but he had heart and he was always one of my favorite Sabres.
Too bad Vanek/Roy/Afinogenov had to jump from being the best 3rd line in the league to being a 1st line with a cry-baby goalie and a made-of-glass supporting cast and a weak ass defense.
I hated Pominville as a captian and he still was a better leader than Eichel with his generic, gag-inducing takes after crushing losses like "The other team wanted it more" and "We didn't work hard enough" yeah no poop head of pube-hair, now go tuck your gold chain into your jersey and eat your vanilla ice cream. |

It's true. After the Briere/Drury thing, Vanek, Roy, Afinogenov, Hecht and Pominville were about the only players on the team worth a damn. Everyone else showed up half the time, was old as the sword in the stone, constantly hurt or in the case of our goalie, constantly crying in his corner being an anti-social weirdo and pretending like his wife has an actual career in Hollywood and he's "an Olympian" man what a god damn jerk that dude was. |
