I think Granato ends up our HC. Looks like we still need a top 6 wing or two next off-season unless that's Bjork and Olofsson? Who plays wing with Cozens next season? - zdp1189
Trade Sam for a goalie and get a solid 2w and one real vet dman. Should be able to land a top 6 wing for Ristolinen. The D is going to have to come via FA |

Looks like alot of work this off-season. Hope they can get it done. Especially if Ullmark walks. Several holes to be filled if this team is going to make the playoffs. |

Haha that’s got nothing on 98 % of the people on these threads wanting to trade the 2018 first rounder after the 10 game winning streak to try to make the playoffs and not tank for our golden child Dylan Cozens.
I was called a crappy fan for purposefully cheering for us to lose despite the analytics clearing showing how much bs luck went into that streak.
Engaged in a 2-3 month debate with Fitz on the merits of losing to draft in the 5-7 range instead of the 12-17 range.
Ironically enough I’m not a crappy fan anymore and everyone can wait to build around the guy nobody wanted to bottom out for.
Gotta love it. - Pegullaville
Nope,
It’s still crappy to cheer against your team like that
1- u didn’t know we’d get Cozens
2- there little difference between picking 7th & 15th generally- & u even admitted so
*we just as easily could’ve gotten another Risto, Mitts or Nylander in that spot instead of Cozens....
or we could’ve finished a few spots lower & picked Grigorenko, Girgs, Armia, Kassian or Myers....
Would’ve still been quite the crapshoot
We got lucky Cozens fell & is working out so far
Also could’ve lucked out on a good player later in the round- happens every year
For example:
9- Trevor Zegras
13- Spencer Knight
15- Cole Caufield
16- Alex Newhook
17- Peyton Krebs

Just watched the highlights.
Holy crap, we beat the Caps ! Not only did we beat them, we KILLED them. I can't believe it. From what I gathered while watching the recap, we looked incredibly fast out there...and the youngins are really coming along nicely.
Question : Does Ralph EVER get another NHL coaching gig again ? I'm going with "no". But ya gotta hand it to him...he totally scammed the Pegula's. Nice job, old man. Nice job.

All of them will likely be great NHL players.
All of them were also available at 7.
It is on the scouting staff to make the best decision for the roster. The earlier you pick the higher the chance of getting an NHL player.
I cheered against my team because I knew they had several flaws and in a draft class like the one in 2018 we had a chance to get a high impact player and early returns say we did. |

Hey,
I didn’t even feel all that comfortable hoping we’d lose for McEichel
Meanwhile,
You were outright cheering for us to lose
I’m not taking it back- u were being a bad fan imo
I don’t CHEER for my team to lose

Matt Ellison never won a MVP. That is who Sharp was traded for. |

If you go back to the Bruins sites from a year ago they were very high on him. Many thought he was one of their top prospects two years ago. It's early, but....

Reider and Eakin both had about 9.5 minutes ESTOI. Everyone else had about 13-15 minutes. So that's neat.
Matt Irwin had about 14 minutes ESTOI while Dahlin and Joker led with 18.5 minutes. |

This is an expose written about the Coyotes by Katie Strang back in February, and it draws maybe a few parallels to the Pegulas. However, as I kept reading, and even while keeping Tim Graham's expose in mind, I realized that we definitely don't have the worst ownership in the league. They're just idiots.

It’s ok if it puts money in his pocket.
Not ok though if you’re hoping to find the Sabres 2nd line Center for the next 10 years. |

It was easy money. If you know they're going to lose, you might as well put down cash in your favor.
I think most if not all of us would rather have a winning team rather than making a few bucks off of guaranteed losses.

Very likable guy, very intelligent guy. I'm sure he'll be fine. But he's absolutely adamant that he continue to play. I think if he had another case like he did a couple years ago, I think he'd retire at that point. |
