I think the problem he had is that he just played one too many years. There was nothing left in his arm at the end.
- Slump Buster

Exactly

Point is Manning came back and came back completely fine

He was also 10 years older than Jack when he had it done and his body after 16 years of professional football had enough.

I am not worried about Jack being able to regain form

One name I would keep an eye on is Scott Luce. He’s currently the Director of Amateur Scouting for the Vegas Golden Knights.

Can spin it anyway you want, it's not the best injury to have in a contract sport. He's young so he should be able to heal fully, but you never know what can happen.

I think as these people with respectable names start to come to the surface and the kids playing like they are it might not take that long to get back to being semi-respectable as a franchise despite the owners negligence.

No doubt. I think that might make it harder to trade him in both the short term and the long term as well (which is great).

I mean he was useless but got to walk off into the Sunset with a ring which definitely plays into the “legacy”.

Didn't that happen in the last game he played, though?

Yeah, it did. It was towards the end of the game.

I want to know the injury eichel had to start the season. The rumored knee surgery.

SAbres just posted Herniated Disc in his neck.

Damn.

If he was playing with that all year he is a true god.

I herniated a disc in my lower back and couldn't walk upright at times. Still bothers me a few times a year.

Just saw on GR that Karmanos is now AGM for Sabres?

Isn't that what everyone wanted?

It was being speculated for over a month. As an associate GM, it's nice to have someone with a proven track record of experience and belief in analytics. He helped establish that department for the Pens and will do the same here.

So did 'we' want him? I mean, I did. Or someone of his ilk, sure. Kevyn needs help.

A buddy asked me last night when Ullmark went down what it would cost to get Gibson out of Anahiem

Then he brought up an Eichel trade there

Rakell
Gibson
1st

for

Eichel

I said that's not enough but the thought of Gibson is interesting

- Stripes77

I like Colorado for Eichel

They don’t have great long term center depth behind MacKinnon.

Eichel and something minor for Byram, Rantanen, and Jost

It’s steep for Colorado but they are LOADED on D and Rantanen is slightly over rated

Colorado...

They should win multiple cups with those two as their top 2 centers
