Colorado...

They should win multiple cups with those two as their top 2 centers

- Stripes77

They might win 2 cups regardless.

Wouldn't be surprised if he had something going on with his neck before that game.

I would have liked to see him with the team in a supporting role, as the captain of the team

Boobie Miles was there for his team mates

Honestly it's great to disengage with all the poop I have going on here lately, break up the day with some casual hockey talk.

I suspect in a normal year that he'd be around the team more. I assume he's living outside of whatever protocols the NHL is asking of their players.

I'd like to see a sign that he is all in for next year with the team

we literally have not heard 2 words from him since the injury, and a lot has happened since then with the sabres

Either way, I think that (thankfully) makes him untradeable this offseason
- Slump Buster

Agree here. Let’s see how he does with a more open offensive system, younger hungrier team around him. Clearly the need to go out and get a Hall type backfired so maybe Eichel will be content with playing with our core plus a few depth pieces sprinkled in.
Solid defensemen plus maybe a 5-8 forward who’s a good 2 way player maybe?

Easy answer, 3 years 4M. But you MUST find a reliable backup. Someone like Raanta would be great, because him and Ullmark could provide the same quality and they can rotate injuries

They’re stupid good. Makar will win multiple Norris trophy’s, Moose is an absolute beast. Always underrated.
MacKinnon is only about 5% below McJesus IMO

Perhaps that waits until locker cleanout day. But I agree, we should hear from him. Don't think it would be appropriate to ask him about his injuries prior to being out for the season. But I'd want to hear a 10 minute presser at the end of season for sure.

So, this may not seem like a big a deal, but they're calling Karmanos the associate GM, not assistant.

Usually a associate tag is listed as having a somewhat equal value.

no need to wait, esp since his playing season is over

Yeah, it did. It was towards the end of the game.

I want to know the injury eichel had to start the season. The rumored knee surgery.

- Sabretooth9

Ya, heard that rumor too..but his skating looked ok, but his pace was way down.
I think the cracked rib makes the most sense in that it also limits the ability to put alot of force behind the shot...and is tough on the faceoff dot as well...two areas I thought his game took massive steps back.

Remember when people thought he was holding back and discounted any sort of injury talk as am excuse.
This place is like a looney bin alot of times.

With some of the reviews on Bjork's playing style, can't you see a line of:
-Skinner (Finisher),
-Eichel (puck mover extraordinare, set up, dangerous shot),
-Bjork (speed, setup, and defensively conscientious).
I do...but haven't seen him live yet.

Part of being a manager in any field really is having smart people under you to delegate and discuss tasks at hand. I applaud this move, just wish it happened a week or two earlier as I do think KA is a little bit over his head to take this on alone.
