Ok
So with houser being promoted from taxi squad rules state team must carry 1 goalie on taxi squad
Unless team is carrying 3 on team
So is ullmark and hutton consider on team with being injured
???

Get the Zamboni driver that beat Toronto.

Or

The accountant that suited up for Chicago.

Jakub Zboril back into the lineup. Kevan Miller is out. He's got an issue bothering him not related to his knee, per Bruce Cassidy

Mike Harrington
@ByMHarrington
He's probably got a sore hand from the contact with Tage Thompson's face.

OHL season has been suspended.

Jack made the right choice playing in the AHL. Tough lesson but what a waste it would have been sitting around for no reason.
I got to see Cape Breton vs Halifax when I was home. QMJHL survived do to the Atlantic bubble in Canada

Ovechkin and Risto hate each other so that should be fun tonight. Is Risto actually going to fight tonight?
- jcragcrumple

Why should risto fight?

Again, risto getting your a$$ handed to him, bye tom wilson isnt going to stop him from hurting dahiln.

Risto absolutely needs to step a with a big check, play within his skill set.

It's fun saying risto is tough, but doesn't fight.

Tage has the biggest advantage of size and reach of any Sabres player. He doesn't need to fight tonight and get beat up.

We need tougher players that play "their" game.
A facepuncher that punches
A hitting defenseman that hits
A 6'5 guy that spinaramma's

Like ion said, toughness though out the line up.
It's clearly a flawed line up, playing outside your game is going to get you beat up, agaisnt real fighters.

That said, when someone is actually pissed, not nhl code tough, like tage would be refreshing.
He stepped up, but wasnt angry. He felt he needed to do that because of hockey culture. You could see it in the delay. He waited, he wasnt ready to kill millar. He did what he was programmed to do. Props for trying.

See the difference . Someone should actually feel angry about their friend/ teammate getting cheap shotted. Because that's their game.

I thought that the team as whole played much tougher after the Tage rammed his face into Millars fist. They actually finished their checks and showed as much toughness as the current roster can muster. Yes, its nice to have a few face punchers that can play, and this is where we miss McCabe. That said, face punching is not the sole component of toughness, it needs to come from the entire roster on every shift. Be physical, battle along the walls, finish every check.
- Chris16

This is excellent and well written 🤝

1. Facepunchers that can actually play hockey too
2. Facepunchers to answer for cheap shots
3. Facepunchers for entertainment vaule

This isn't even true. He has 2 goals in the past 4, 3 in the past 8, 5 in the past 12.
- TheSabresTaco

Wow, something is different between our analysis.

I have sam scoring- 3 goals and 3 assists in the last 18 games.

Starting game 3/11 - no goals

18 games.
Scored a goal 3/27
Scored a goal 3/31
Scored a goal 4/11.

Looking at hockey reference.

Plus it won’t burn a year of his ELC.

He’s gaining important experience and from the sounds of it has been improving.

Experience is the most important thing. Sitting a year will kill anyone’s career, especially at this critical junction

Why would Risto get his ass kicked?

He's 6'4" 220

He just has to be willing. Get out there and do it. He has 30 pounds on Wilson

Fighting is a skill.

Sam needs to just be willing to score goals.
Get out there and do it.

Again, hopefully someone including risto is actually pissed and not just fighting for the nhl code.

Tage 6'5 , if anyone has an advantage its him.
I hope he never fights again. That was embarrassing and did absolutely nothing to the bully bruins

You think Tage getting his lunch handed to him was embarrassing?

I think it was pretty (frank)ing great of him. I give him enormous credit and a lot of respect. Did he win? No. But he addressed a bad hit in the moment

I noticed your post after the fight. You were pumped.

He got his ass beat down badly. You liked it. 👊

Again, great that he "showed up", not great that we have no other choices to answer the bell.

Cozensons actually looked pissed and won his fight.
I appreciated that, much much more.
