Perhaps. I'm of the mindset that if you can get a better player to wear the jersey go for it. I'm not attached to anyone player. They can all go for the betterment of the team. I've moved on from my little spat of protecting him. Doubt he gets taken if left unprotected anyways.

Thats why I keep saying Reinhart and Risto should be traded.

They have the most value who are expendable. Risto is fools gold and if we can get a top 6 for him you do it, someone with a bit of toughness like E.Kane style of game. Then I am trading Reinhart for a mobile top 4.

Unless we are thowing money at UFAs need something of value.

Maybe take a run at Rask, need a goalie for 2 years for 6K to take over. If he wants to much Mrazek or Driedger.

There has never been a better time to trade Rhino. Risto won’t land us a ton, but it’s time for Dahlin to step up into the 23min per game guy. Someone will give us a solid 2,3rd line winger for Risto

I don’t get the online hate bashing thing. Ranting in a form like this is fine, but the Twitter/ FB ect shat is just over the line. Not just sports. Some poor girl post a pic of her self with a new hair do and the hatter roll in. It’s terrifying to know my kids are probably effected by this.

I won't argue about Risto, even though I think he's a Kevyn Adams kinda guy. It's his relentlessness and determination that keeps him here.

I'm more curious about why we're trading Reinhart? Ideally, you said you want to trade Risto for a top 6 and Reinhart for a top 4. Do you expect to get a forward that's more useful than Reinhart using Risto?

I am someone who thinks Risto hurts this team with his bonehead plays and he is terrible on transition giving the puck away. I think we could get someone to bite and give us a top 6 in Return. Not going to compare if it will be someone as good as Reinhart. 20 goal scorer with a bit of grit.

As for Reinhart I do feel like we need a veteran top 4 when trading Risto and Reinhart gets us that.
