personally i'd like to see him traded and think he's worth mid-six forward or a couple of picks (2nd, 4th) or a mid-upper level prospect...but it kills me when i see him portrayed as less than chopped liver with an expected return of a top-six forward...does not compute
- Michael Pachla

Because he’s been less than good for years and GM’s keep passing up top 6 forwards for him

Murray passed up Hall, Botterill passed up Ehlers and who knows what Adams passed up this offseason

If they move Risto, the offseason is the time to do it IMO.

In the 10 games since March 29 the Sabres are fourth in the NHL with 13 points, one point behind the Rangers and Toronto for second place. They're 7th in points percentage at .650. They've averaged 3.60 goals per game which is fourth overall behind Col, Pitt and the NYR

They’ve always been a second half team.

Watch them go on a 10 game win streak and fvck everything up.

A very Sabres move.

yup a whole lotta nuthin about nuthin...the only think i got out of it is that jack is looking for certainty with surgery which is why early may seems to be the target date...if he waits and still needs surgery, he may not be ready for training camp...the rest is meh

He actually seemed to think that Jack would be on the move this offseason, but he admitted that this was purely his own speculation and not based on rumor.

It’s what happens when you get used to something.

You get complacent.

That’s what this organization has done to us.

yeah...it's a little bit of that...it's also a weird draft year and as recent play has shown, they're capable of landing a good player in that 5-8 range...i don't mind them winning and in fact it might be better as they need to learn how to win, not lose for a higher pick

I've actually been thinking about this a lot over the last few days.

We are now toward the end of what was going to be our worst year ever. Wouldn't it be weird to break the tank curse (not that I believe in that nonsense) by playing ourselves out of the last spot? I am fully on board - the more wins now the better because they are meaningful and not achieved by a bunch of scrubs that won't be here next year.

Agreed. Like I said, we must rid ourselves of all the tanking sins. Jack and Rinehart included. Vamoose son of a female dog. Get some good karma
