He almost just made a slick move into the zone - picklerick
Yeah, very close to making that work. Nice to see the confidence. |

The best part of that goal was Panarin just stopped about 20 ft out on the 2v1 and said if you pass it here I will put that in |

It wasn’t the shot that was the best part. The fact Panarin could go at full speed, stop on a dime to crate a passing lane on a 2 on 1. That is just out of this world elite |

The way that developed looked like it was going nowhere and Panarin just made it happen. |

I think it's a combo of losing some key pieces and the Rangers hitting their stride. |

Trouba maintains this play and they'll have to keep him. He might be the next captain given what's been reported. |

It sucks I just don’t think their are enough games left to catch Boston for a playoff spot. Would be fun to see this team make it |

No heart left on your team. The looked defeated after the first goal. - Fenrir One hundred percent correct. Devils season ticket holder for decades, no desire to renew. Ownership doesn't care about anything other than making money. Head coach game passed by when nixon was president.

I knew Panarin was good when he signed but I didn’t realize how good he was WOW - way out west
He surprises me more and more every game. The last decade our team was always led by a scorer like Zucc who would put up like 50 points a year. It's crazy watching a guy that on a bad night only scored 1 point. The consistency is something we haven't seen in a very long time if ever.
Also Laf looks really good. The production will come (and has started to pick up) but how often do you have a 19 year old kid with as complete a game as his? His compete level, defensive play, IQ. He has everything you look for in a player he's gonna be really special. |

It's too bad because they have some really nice pieces. Hughes and Hischier are both very good centers, and guys like Bratt and Wood are players as well. Throw Ty Smith in there and that's a decent core but what separates the Rangers and Devils at this point to me is that the Rangers have a good veteran presence in Panarin/Trouba/Zib/Kreids that the Devils are missing.
Hockey is more fun when all 3 NY-area teams are good. I hope they turn the corner and we get some good Hischier/Hughes/Smith vs Kakko/Laf/Miller games in the future. I also hope the rangers get the better of those games |
