It would be nuts. Who knows how it would have ended up? Kopitar is that elite center a team can win cups with. You know the Rangers would not have been shy about surrounding him with talent. Maybe he doesn't turn into the player he was with the Kings though.

I was planning to go to the Buffalo game over that weekend but I am worried the second shot is gonna make us feel too poopty and the money will be wasted. We get the second shot on the 24th.

a guy I work with who actually had Covid got completely floored from first shot, but not until a day later

he was at work and I thought he was gonna drop he got so sick

I was fine with first shot, but yeah, I expect a rough day after 2nd

Oh I hear ya. I waited until I was complete with mine before going. My first game was the Penguins game that was 8-4. Place was rocking for 1800 fans.

Anybody interested in tickets for the 23rd. I have 2 that i can not use. $210 total for both tickets. If you are vaccinated you need only show your proof of vaccination or you can get a PCR test 72 hours prior to the game. They have a few ways to get in.

The vaccination is good 14 days after your last shot. So you would still need a negative test to get in.

I went to Aqueduct as well. It had big zombie apocalypse vibes. Military everywhere. Droves of people sauntering into a repurposed stadium for a vaccine. I will say i was in and out in 45 min and didnt wait more than 5 minutes from the time i entered.

Good luck on the 2nd shot guys. Hopefully you guys have minimal issues.

COVID is interesting since it really does effect everyone differently. The wife is just getting her smell back. Though she wasn't overly worried cause she couldn't smell my morning glory dumps. I never lost taste or smell.

Agreed. HYDRATION is huge with this virus. And if the shot is like other vaccines and gives you the virus slightly through antibodies, buy a gallon jug of water and keep drinking it.

First shot I was fine, The second i got a headache and some chills but no fever or anything.

Also keep your body moving go for a walk and you will end up feeling better.

I still think all of this "we have too many D men" is all hypothetical.

I just remember about 5 years ago everyone saying that about the Flyers prospects and look how that turned out.

Its nice to think players like Nils, Schnieder, Jones etc will be top 4 caliber NHL d men but until they turn pro and show what they can do, I am not going to worry about who has to leave. Just got to let this process play out and let the players decide who will be here long term.

Everyone is, understandably, chomping at the bit to make a change. Reality is, there just isn't a necessity to do so yet. Rather than make a knee jerk reaction, the optimal long term move is to see how things shake out. If we get to a point where we have 8 top 4 dmen, then trade them. If Chytil/Strome can't figure it out next season, then make the move that solidifies the middle of the ice. I'd be willing to bet that they do not make any big changes until next year and just let the current roster marinate.

Smart decisions are needed right now, not reactionary.
