In terms of people's "freedoms", I wonder why no-one said much about mandatory hotel stays. Someone who recently had to stay in a hotel pointed out that they had to take a crowded shuttle to the hotel and the hotel common areas were packed, and no social distancing. They, rightfully so, feel that this is far less safe than if they went straight home and quarantined.
