were they at least slightly better than how they played during the previous game..? that was a no-show, so not very hard to beat lol... anyways I hope we see the "good version" of Carey Price from the get-go, would be nice if they could string a couple of victories for once
- Pat1993

Well, yeah it was a small improvement, but there were still to many no shows...it was a very frustrating game to watch. Hope the do better this afternoon, I’m getting fed-up from complaining all the time lol

With Alzner I think MB was in desperation
mode that year but I agree you never know. Many things come into play when trading for or signing a player, but there is risk all the time whether you look outside, from within or have a player that is injury prone or aging

Even if for arguments sake Montreal could attract the D man equivalent of a Panarin or Tavares, paying one player such a ton of money like in the previous two examples doesn't seem like a recipe for success. Especially when Montreal already has anchor contracts.

I hope they get a boost of energy from Price being back and that it puts them over the top in this one...

I think last time they won 2 in a row was in March, 5-4 in a SO against the canucks on the 20th, and then 4-0 against EDM on the 30th lol

with 15 games left, now would be a good time to get things started. build up a momemtum for the playoffs, get some stability and consistency in their play.

yup, peaking at the right moment

let's hope he doesn't have to go there but if they don't get any better Ducharme will need to do something more drastic to shake things up, other than having Evans sit out...

if they don't, I'll change my playoffs prediction,
and both MB and DD will be looking for a new job imo.

I dunno what DD's thoughts are exactly right now but you would think as a new coach that he's trying to keep the vets on his side, hence explaining why he hasn't benched anyone really significant yet... at some point something's gotta give though if he wants to get his message across and maintain player accountability

What is your playoff prediction? I don’t see them winning more than 2 rounds max

Allen is better than some starters on other teams.

And he doesn't cost much for the next 2 years.

He'll be an interesting choice for them.

But there will be a few good players to choose from for Seattle in Montreal imo.

I hope they stay away from Fleury. I believe in this guy.

- Scabeh

fleury could be their pick, really depends on their other picks as well. But if mtl believed in him, should he not be in mtl right now?

My gf - what's your excuse for day drinking today?
Me - the Habs
My gf - they're playing or just because of how bad they are?

She's not supposed to be this good at chirping

same. IF they finish the season on a good note. if they keep playing like he past month.... they won't win one, whoever they face.

he's there to win games. if he doesn't have the guts to sit vets and dress the better lineup, he doesn't deserve the job.
