Put McDavid on the Flames and it wouldn’t be close.
Just shows how crappy the rest of the the team is after 97 & 29.
What the heck has the Oilers been doing since they took those 2?

This team should be dominating the North by now yet the Flames beat them 5-zip last game.
Must be frustrating to be an Oiler fan.

You're literally saying it would take an Oiler on your team for them to be any good. Since Mcdavid and Drai have been Oilers they have won a playoff round flames have not. Oilers are 5-3 against the flames this year and have scored 7 on them twice. It must be frustrating being a flames fan knowing you'll never have an elite player like Gretzky, Messier, Mcdavid or Draisaitl and have to settle for guys like Fleury and Gaudreau.

lol true. On paper and on the ice. Flames will continue to circle the drain unless certain problems are solved. It's always easy to poke and prod and say he you suck beyond Mcd and Drai. That's like saying PIT sucked beyond Crosby/Malkin and Chi always sucked beyond Toews/Kane lol. The argument doesn't wash but Flames fans love it lol.

Suck it K-Man!!

So you’re comparing this current Oiler roster with the Stanley cup rosters of Pittsburgh or Chicago?
You’re smarter than that.

Slow your roll there sunshine!

Are we talking about the same Oiler team that missed the playoffs last year?

Alls I was saying is that after the top 2 players and all these picks they’ve had in the draft, that it’s sad that that’s their 2nd line.
Please tell me more about the great Oilers from the 80’s, I need a refresher.

Lol, posters get more defensive than any NHL blueline. No doubt that the Oil have underachieved in the past based on the number of high picks we have obtained. There is hope now that we are coming out of the Chia inflicted dark ages, but who knows what Holland will ultimately end up doing with/to this squad. I have no issues with what he has done to date, but his last few years in Detroit don't give me a ton of comfort.

All those rosters were bad until their top 2 stars got there Maybe give Holland more than a year? lol

So EDM needed to win a cup a few years after McD got there to make it all relevant??

Again the Flames fans moniker of the 'Oilers are nothing without McD or Drai' gets old real fast man you can make that argument on many teams. Come up with something better K-man I think you can if you try...

Now suck it.
