Awesome game, great to see the emotion after that win. Holtby being on fire and Myers playing 30 minutes is unsustainable but hey today was fun - NorthNuck

I didn’t see that coming! It wasnt great hockey, but it was fun, especially as I was watching on Leafs-land SNO and the OT win was gold. Gutsy game by Holtby, Horvat and Myers
Yup that was highly unexpected. Your boy Myers with a pretty great game - forced into way more minutes than anybody post covid should be able to handle, played solid and comes up with a huge assist in OT! - Brooks_Light
Ya, he played well for sure. Hamonic and Hughes played well also.
I know I criticize Hughes a bit, but he played a smart defensive game tonight.

I’m glad you feel qualified to determine what’s in the best interest of the Canadian people. Don’t mind me if I disagree with your qualifications. - golfingsince

Nobody is in shambles, we’re Canucks fans and used to missing the playoffs.
I’ve waited 50 years so far so riding out Bennings tenure will be a cakewalk. Hopefully he doesn’t (frank) things up too badly in the meantime. - golfingsince
We'll be fine. Two years lol
Every GM brings pain and heartache to this organization. Burke, Nonis, Gillis, Benning all have faults. We haven't drafted this good in like awhile...good things are coming.

We haven’t had so many high draft choices in awhile either. As much as I like Petey and Hughes it’s a huge concern that neither weighs anywhere near 200lbs.
It doesn’t really matter if we saddle the team with overbearing contacts moving forward.

League is changing pretty rapidly. Less fights and hitting back to smaller players a bit of a finesse game. Hughes and Petey will be fine.
It's the rebuild of the D that's concerning. Now that we have Hughes he needs to be complimented properly and supported.
I get that big and heavy/skilled teams wins cups but there is a bit of a shift going on.
