Astonishing, ruins almost every close game. I get theres next to no practice time to improve on it, but still. Even if it doesnt straight up "cost" us a game, it ruins any momentum when the boys are playing well at ES. And this team is actually pretty good at ES/5-on-5.

It's ridiculous that Buffalo could pass us, but I guess sporting a 6 game losing streak and going 1-8-1 in our last 10 games will do that.

I'll be happy if we end up picking 1-5. Not that 6-10 seems at all bad in this draft but it's I'd rather we have as much choice as possible.

It was like getting raped. Sure, technically you got to have sex, which is usually cool: but instead you just feel completely violated. So yeah, technically you could say we played a hockey game, which is usually cool: but instead you just feel completely violated.

Trade back? This is the exact reason not to trade back, because it's more shallow. You normally trade back if it's a deep draft.

And in a few years, after we get Luke this draft we'll be called the NJ Hughes when Quinn ends up in Jersey.

And for all the hate on #71, he didnt play much in Washington and he's so far been paired with Butch (doesnt play) and Tenny from Bing.

Give him time, he will be solid. If you watch how he plays man on man, or along the boards, he's great. He also finishes all his checks.

To be fair as well, that is subjective, yes he started out well during Covid, but slowly stopped improving and looked poor in the December World juniors. Yes he looked better than at the draft, but still a reach at 20.
