I think he’s a love him or hate him kind of announcer and I’m sure some on here think he’s awesome but I cannot stand Doc Emerick. I think he’s so god damn annoying.

Gross: Cal Clutterbuck, Ross Johnston, Leo Komarov all taking warmups. But do not see Travis Zajac.

Gotta admit, didn't see 'Zajac to the press box' coming

I like Chris King because you know he cares and he knows the sport but he goes so hysterical when the isles score no matter the situation. I happened to be in the car when Barzal scores the between the legs goal against Buffalo and I figured it was no different a goal than he normally scores.

Also, don’t like how low key he gets when the other team scores. You’re on the radio, sometimes he gets so quiet I legit don’t know what happened. I don’t like an announcer who’s a complete homer.

Doc Emrick, to me, is the best hockey announcer I’ve ever heard. I know he can get quite hysterical at times too, but almost every time he nails the call and he usually knows the situation quite well.

Gene Hart was hands down the greatest hockey commentator I ever heard. His pitch, tone and command of the English language was unparalleled. Always liked Doc too. Hell I didn't mind when Gary Thorne did games.
