One thing you're missing, and what the argument is missing, is that while kids aren't nearly as likely to die from it, they're capable of spreading it to people who are more likely to die from it.

That, and the long term effects on children/their development, are reasons to be cautious.

My GF's sister's family all have Covid right now because their daughter and son go to a daycare, where there was an outbreak. They're 2.5 and 1.

Yup, that was my assumption. hang in there bud. It will be over soon as most people are now eligible for vaccination. Getting vaccinated is the best we can do. The rest is Mother Nature.
