You missed the part where your team was outscored.

Holtby played great, but your goalie got beat 3 times by a team recovering from the flu and missing half a dozen players.

TML goaltending is trash.

- dbot

lol... yup.. Campbell it trash.... statistically, he has been just as good, if not better than Holtby this season and last. one of these goalies is on the way up and the other on the way down..

now if Toronto's PP wasn't so dreadful the past few games... no way Van wins last night, even with 3 goals past Campbell.

Vancouver’s Alexander Edler has been suspended for two games for Kneeing Toronto’s Zach Hyman.

Coinbase is US doesn't have CAN$. I'm with Crypto.com (exchange & wallet). The Exodus wallet is also a good one.

If you're good with pinning your playoff hopes on a 29 year old who has a whopping 78 games of NHL experience under his belt, hey, more power to you.

While we're doing comparisons, Holtby has 96 playoff games played with a .926 save percentage and a 2.13 GAA

I couldn't find Campbell's playoff stats, maybe you could provide them.

- Load Management

so by your logic.... if the Canucks were to make the playoffs this year, you would pin your playoff hopes with Holtby? seeing as Demko has only played 62 NHL games.

by the way... Campbell's numbers are better than Demko's too.. and that includes Campbell playing on a terrible LA Kings team

lol, I was trying to keep the stats current and relevant, but ok

No one is arguing that Holtby was good 6 years ago. Problem is that he’s pretty terrible today

But if you wanna throw aging out the window, we have Joe Thornton! Hart Trophy winner!

- AxlRose91

He looked good last night. Better than the guy in your net. That's about as relevant as it gets.

Here's another one for ya. Andersen, with the Leafs in the playoffs, .916 SV% 2.78 GAA. 10 wins 14 losses....Yikes.

The irony is that edler could probably use the extra few days, and that the canucks are better off without him in the lineup

??

You would rather see Chatfield take his minutes? Edler has probably been the teams best all-around Dman this year.

They showed it last night, he leads the franchise in games played, goals, assists, points. I've never really been a huge fan of him but you have to recognize his ability.

Statistically Campbell has had a pretty decent career, but he lets in softies a lot. Just like Markstrom.

I'll take Demko at 25 years old and 62 starts all day every day. Holtby was brought in as insurance. Campbell is 29 and on his 3rd NHL team with only 78 starts. You'd think he would have earned a decent run by now if he were any good, or are the Kings just that deep in net to throw franchise Goalies away?

That one game sample is “as relevant as it gets”? More relevant than the full-season statistics, which clearly demonstrate that Campbell is outplaying him significantly? Ok man

And those Andersen stats are pretty good! .916 and 2.78? Basically identical to what Demko has posted this year, no?

I feel like your arguments are so poorly-constructed that we’re basically on the same side here

Anyways champ, good luck tomorrow!

Always been so hit or miss in his career. It is time to replace him though. Canucks have lots of young LHD who need game experience.

I would disagree soo hard on Edler being the best overall. I think its Schmidt hands down.

I would rather see Juolevi/Rathbone/Raffety than see Edler at this point in the season. Let the kids play. Myers has eased up on his minor penalties, but Edler hasn't.

100%. Id like to see some youth inserted into the lineup. See how Juolevi fairs when he is recovered. Schmidt I assume will be back shortly as well. I would like to see how Rafferty does if he gets a shot as well.

So would I, but that's the thing, I think the organization has made it clear they would rather Chatfield and Brisebois ahead of Rathbone and Rafferty, and Juolevi was on the back burner for a while before the covid hit.

Nice twist. You forgot the 10 wins and 14 losses....that doesn't get you very far in 4 playoff years does it Champ?

one word... QUICK

in my opinion, the Kings held onto Quick too long and in the last 2 or 3 years have made it practically impossible to trade him as no team wants him at that cap-hit/salary.

Plus the Kings seem prepared to go with Cal Petersen as their goalie of the future.

26 years old... 42gp 2.69 with a 17-18-5 record and a .920 save percentage

I'll agree on Rafferty, but I think Rathbone and juolevi are ultimately the plan moving forward over brisebois and Chatfield.

Rathbone couldn't make the jump straight from college to the NHL, needed some time in Utica. I'm really hoping he'll get some games here.

Fair enough. Quick earned that payday on those Cup runs. I can't say I've seen enough of Petersen to form an opinion on him.

They are, but they've refused to play Rathbone to this point, and Juolevi has had a short leash.

I expect Edler will still see heavy minutes until playoffs are no longer a possibility.

I'd be crapping my pants going into the playoffs with the Goalies they have.

That’s why they traded for the Mighty Big Save Dave!
