Yup, that was my assumption. hang in there bud. It will be over soon as most people are now eligible for vaccination. Getting vaccinated is the best we can do. The rest is Mother Nature.

I believe the lockdowns are criminal. They are ruining the economy, piling on debt for the next generations to deal with. Causing a mental health crisis. I can’t even begin to think of the damage it’s causing to kids. The worst part about it is people that speak out against the government are silenced. We have idiots with no medical training navigating us through this. Lots of medical professionals believe there should have never been any form of lockdown.

Here we go, it’s been over a year and we have had more freedoms taken away than at any point of this incredibly mild pandemic. Sadly it’s probably the last straw for me.

So for myself and my wife, she has been administering the vaccines in home and community nursing since we first received them, and then once the priority patients were done who weren't mobile, she has been slotted to the immunization clinics, so I get most of my information directly from her.

I buy goods for Respiratory + Biomedical Engineering, so I get my information from them. I haven't turned on a single news channel or opened up a news site in months cause its always wrong, no matter who is reporting it.

So I was just genuinely curious, where are people going to get their facts and news, and why they think its superior and factual compared to the rest of whats being said.

My friend's husband works at the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg. He has been studying the virus for 6 months now.

You will always have people that are looking at opposite sides of the coin no matter what.

Well I think it’s really important to be sceptical of the news and stats that are presented. Stats need context. VGH for example thinks kids are dying of COVID. A 10 second google search will confirm that no kids are dying in Canada. Why aren’t folks doing their own research? I’ve listened to plenty of medical professionals speaking out against the governments approach and they are quickly called crazy. I have doctor friends in both Canada and the US that think our approach is a disaster and the media and government are doing everything in their power to create fear.

I’m certainly not a conspiracy theorist but the government has gone too far. And what disturbs me even more is that the majority of people seem to be supportive of the measures. Americans would never put up with this sh!t. That’s why is such a great nation (minus the godamn racism).

The info I observed was as of March 15th 2021. So I guess now one infant has died. How many infants died of influenza in 2019?
