Wasn't the reason he couldn't dress because his salary would put them over the cap? Pretty sure if Price is out even a week, that will be enough to cover both Primeau and Caufield's prorated salaries

Whatever happens from there is whatever happens from there but it'll be enough for Molson to BS fans about progress ans run it back again, potentially even adding a year to MB's deal. Size aside...Mete isn't good enough at hockey currently. No team was even willing to offer a conditional 7th for him. Regardless of how you feel about Mete, 31 GMs decided they wouldn't give up the bare minimum of assets for him. Do with that as you will
