Tarasenko, O'Reilly, Pietrangelo were elite players that year i would say.

Jaden Schwartz had amazing playoffs as well.

Well, if they're not gonna play Caufield in the NHL, send him back in the AHL to play those games...

I get that #Habs fans haven’t seen elite talent in so long they don’t even know how to process it, but it’s enough with the “they’re going to ruin Caufield” stuff. There’s almost 0 downside trying him. There’s infinite upside. He’ll be fine either way, cuz he’s an elite talent.

Looks like EE's not about to throw those pompoms away anytime soon.

Looking at our competition, if CGY or VAN start winning the next game the more we need to start him

I consider elite players to be a point per game or more. If not point per game then 45-50 goal scorers. Neither of them are point per game players. They are very good players though. Who do the Canadiens have that are as good as those three? What are the chances OReilly will win another cup as a teams first line center?

well my point was more that no player on this team is anything close to what those players are. whether or not they're elite is certainly a bit more subjective yes. but i think we can all agree that this team is terrible and we hate them.

Right... it's a good thing guys like Lindros and Keith Primeau were so big, they might have gotten hurt otherwise
