the fam's finally here! i been partying pretty much non-stop. they're still at it right now but i have to work tomorrow so i had to go.

oh, pat. i've come across a gin you have to try if you guys have it up there.

it's called nolet's. now, i'm a straight up juniper guy. i usually want my gin to taste like a fresh as (frank) christmas tree and i normally can't stand any of the perfumey or flowery gins. i have a bottle of that monkey 47 that everyone is always raving about and i can't even drink it. yuk.

but, this nolet's is different. it's not junipery, but it's still something awesome. it's just an explosion of interesting tastes all up in in yo mouf.

today we were in a place we frequent pretty often when the fam is home and we always sit at the bar to eat and drink and talk (my aunt and uncle are real close with the people that run the restaurant so we stay for hours and we're usually always talking to all these different people) but nobody is allowed to sit at bars here yet so we had to sit at a big table. people could come up and talk to us one at a time, but not crowded together like we normally would be up at the bar.
