Do you mean "had" not sure many feel the same about him after watching him this year. - bradster
oh you mean the year where basically every player on the team regressed? stop it. he's young and will bounce back. |

I agree that out of the two of them, I would rather have Sanheim. - jd250
Sure, Sanheim would be great if he could only grow a pair. He has some skills with the puck, but not that physical especially for his size. It would be nice if they could get someone who could be more effective in clearing the porch. That would help out our goalies tremendously. |

Provy always seems like he has a bad year when the D is, overall, terrible. I think he tries to do too much which leads to turnover and bad play from him. |

Sure he will bounce back. But this is his 5th season, he has had only 1 top 20 finish in Norris voting (joint #17 last year), he has struggled in 2 of the last 3 when he did not have a good partner by his side, and D-men typically peak 28 or so.
His trajectory is already well off the Norris contending track.

Any chance Laine becomes available this off-season? He can't be happy in Columbus.
His flaws are obvious, but considering his down year, there may never be a better time to sign a player of his talent. A pure shooter could solve quite a few issues on the front end, and provide a big boost to our PP.
Perhaps it would be better to let him sign short-term in Columbus (RFA) and watch his numbers continue to drop in that system... then chase him as UFA?
Defense should be our priority, but if you can get Laine at a reduced cost, it is my opinion that you should go for it.
We drafted a shooter in Foerster, but how close to the show is he? I've never seen him play. Do we have our own homegrown Laine in our system?

He was never going to get a fair trial. The judge and jury need to find him guilty or their lives would be in danger.

The fair trial.
Certain defendants deserve the benefit of the doubt?
Others should be thrown to dogs. Or have their necks kneeled on.....for 9 f****ing minutes. After they're already dead, for no reason other than civilians seem to be watching and recording you. |
