NJ looks like they will win. Stretch that lead to 3 points with a game in hand, for the lose for top odds crowd. - SDSabre
With the way they've played the past 15 or so games, I'm not sure they even win another game. They've been terrible. |

Did anyone see that huge blockbuster trade that a site suggested between Columbus and Buffalo for Eichel.
Basically nobody good and 2 first round picks. |

Don’t you find it strange they haven’t been able to trade him if that’s the case?
He’s lost a step this past year
Teams know
I’d like to get him but he’s on the decline - sbroads24
If teams are balking at moving back 7 spots for him, then it's honestly baffling.
Current rumors suggest they could move up to 12 by trading him.
I just don't understand the "he hasn't been traded yet so his value is low" logic. Trades work completely different in the NFL. You can get a star player for a mid-round pick. Getting one by only moving back 7 spots in the draft is unheard of.
Ya'll acting like we're giving them the 10th overall. |

Sounds about right. Ertz is more traceable than Eichel. |

A lot of people down here seem to think Columbus has the assets to give up for him.
It would start with Texier, Foudy, Jenner and a couple of 1sts, if you ask me. But Eichel would be on the first vehicle out of Columbus at the end of his contract. So they'd be absolutely dumb to trade for him.
But Texier, Foudy, Jenner, 2022 1st, 2023 1st, Merzlikins is about all they could offer and hope to remain in any way shape or form competitive while Eichel is playing there. |

I like Knox in the first quarter
I would love Ertz in the 4th quarter if we are down by 4, can't say that for Knox |

he is always considered one of the best blockers if that helps - homiedclown
Pass blockers? Or run blockers?
Bc if he’s pass blocking, then he can’t catch the ball
And we hardly run, so who cares if he’s a great run blocker? |

They haven’t been able to trade him for a third for months now.
Why is Buffalo giving up a first?
If you go
Buf 1st
Buf 5th
For
Philly 2nd
Philly 3rd
Philly 6th
Ertz
Then I consider it.
Buffalo holds the power.
Philly wants to move him Ertz wants out.
Philly would be wanting to move up.
Ertz was injured and when he came back was not that good in his few games. |

Knox is so polarizing. He will drop easy, wide-open 1st down passes all-day long, but Allen lobs up a jump ball to him surrounded by defenders and he does a cartwheel-round-off-front-flip and catches the ball - With his facemask, while doing a handstand.
Seriously it's so ridiculous some of the catches he has no business making and manages to come down with.
But I agree. Knox is good enough until you need to rely on him late in the game. |

He doesn’t. And he’s not negotiating.
Buffalo would have to cut someone or rework more contracts. |

Why is Buffalo giving up a first? - ImThatGuy
Because it's the 30th pick out of 32 picks in round 1 and only having to move back 7 spots is nothing at that point.
I feel like I've said this numerous times. |

could say the same for Ertz with Daboll - homiedclown

Why not just give up a 3rd next year which has been the asking price and keep the first?
There is going to be a Late round QB someone is going to want.
Use that as leverage against that team to pick up a first next year |

I have spent 30 minutes looking for where he said he would not rework
all I found was this
"The NFL Network earlier reported that Ertz wouldn’t need a contract extension from his new team, he’d be willing to play under the final year of his current deal. "
this tells me either or

Knox is a typical role player. He’s ok.
His issue is you can’t rely on him to win mismatches that other good TE’s take advantage of |
