Needs to be traded this offseason. Get something for him. Only players im keeping from the suck years are the Tandem bike boys.

Our PP is 0/11 the last two games.

We are no longer shooting above our expected goals (which you could say was a regression towards the mean considering our poor shooting luck for the whole season)

And our goalie is no longer getting lucky and is starting to play like the 5th string goalie he is.

The team still gets out chanced on most nights.

I’ll give Granato credit for at least trying to open things up and play an up tempo style. I also like how he’s throwing the kids into the fire. Possibly at this point it is a youth and talent issue and not necessarily coaching, however the results are still not good.

Our pp has always lived and died with Eichs so im not really to concerned. We've had the #1 pp in the league recently and we didn't make the playoffs.

Special teams are nice but they don't mean nearly as much as everyone likes to believe.

I'd rather be one of the best teams 5 on 5. Maybe then we'll make the playoffs

its bad. reinhart doesn't create from the half wall, yet he's still there. when asked about it he said they have to improve with threatening to shoot? like oh my god just change the plan.

limited practice time i guess but holy poop its hard to watch

doens't matter...point being he's done very little adjusting to a horrendous powerplay that regularly registers zero shots on goal with the man advantage...has he never seen tape on supersniper tallness from jack's spot in the circle?...has he figured it out that sam is much better in front of the net "taking a beating (*snicker, snicker) than out on the half-wall trying to help direct the pp?

that's what i'm saying...loving what the don has been doing but have said all along he doesn't have the experience to go toe-to-toe with the best coaches/teams in the game and make the necessary adjustments...and it's not his fault, it's just the way it is...

facing the bruins this many times is a great litmus test for his coaching abilities regardless of jack's absence and having a fourth-string goalie whiffing on changeups from the point

trying him sure, but continuing to try him after like 15 straight games of it obviously not working is pretty bizarre

especially because he's so good in front of the net. not only does this put him somewhere he's not playing well, it takes him away from somewhere he does play well.

put cozens or mitts or thompson there i don’t care put anyone else there give it a try lol

Well maybe the experience of coaching against them and then adjusting in the offseason will help. Tis his first crack at the big boy spot.
