Risto has played 25 minutes a night and the only thing he’s good for is clearing the front of the net because we are in our zone because he concedes possession. He gives up the blue line on opposing teams transition plays giving them zone entries.

Every single Sabres player has better analytics way from Risto then they do with him. He brings everyone down.

So yes, considering the amount of time he has spent on the ice with Eichel, and how I have to listen about how he is a crappy leader, not a top 10 Center, not worth $10M, or how we should trade him because we have made the playoffs with him, yes the comparison is valid.
