Did not watch tv broadcast of game, listened to Joe Bowen and Jim Ralph on TSN radio. They were pretty negative in their comments on the Leaf performance. But, they were not as negative as some of the comments on this thread.

Was it primarily an issue of goaltending? Or, was it more of a total team letdown as the game evolved into the third period struggles?

The Canucks are really, really good if you look at the last two games and ignore every other game this season as well as reality.

Well I think we have a total of 7 goaltenders in our system at present. Might have to flip a coin to see who goes in next.

I'd give any one of the others a shot at it. Veille Maybe? What's to lose?

Better not. I’m hoping my team squeaks into the playoffs and has an easy time in the first round.

Make my day if the Nucks get 4th. Can you imagine the Hab fans. Probably have to shut their thread down for a week.

100% goaltending, just like last game.

9 goals against, one with goalie pulled so 8 goals against with goalie in. 4 of the goals were outright brutal goals that 100% of the time needs to be stopped. From distance with no traffic literally went right through the goalies.

Who saw this coming. Oh yeah, I did.

Just saw the highlights.

Would it be safe to say the Leafs have the worst goaltending in the league?

The 2nd and 5th was bad enough to get a goalie fired. The 3rd was bad too.

You have to see a couple of the 3rd period goals to believe them.

I am not kidding when I say every other goalie in the league would have made an easy routine stop. It was one step away from intentionally letting goals in.

I was listening to Bowen and Ralph and they implied that the goaltending was soft. But they were not as direct as some of the comments I have been reading this morning.

So, where does the goaltending for the Leafs go from this point forward

Highlight packages are on-line and not hard to find. Watch them, and go back to the Sens thread. The fact that you only show up here to discuss when they Leafs lose is a pretty clear indication that your only purpose is to troll.

Sorry. Yes, you are right. I should not push the issue.

My question was really more about Bowen and Ralph and there commentary seeming a little off last night. I am satisfied with your feedback.
