Then Burnaby or Abbotsford make more sense for population. Lot's of Canuck fans that can't afford the price or time to head downtown.

I am not a big fan of either player, although they are talented, they are extremely easy to knock off the puck and have several other issues that I can't see them being able to overcome.
I disagree with the whole concept of paying for what someone might become, just because they are young.
That sounds a lot like entitlement, that this society has become.
Also, using that philosophy, Jake should have got 4 million, because he might become a 30 goal power forward.
