It's a shame they've had it so wrong since the year the trophy came out and a 25 year old won. |

I agree what do you think about Aatu Raty, he's a Finn and was a possible projected number one overall last year for this years draft. He's fallen a bit (likely 8-12)but he's a centre and has some of the same things as Podkolzin(he's fallen down after looking like a possible no 1) - Nucknab23
Here is Will Scouch's 20 minutes on him.

I like Will, he makes good videos. He spends a lot of time trying to find things that players just don't have. He is always looking for something that isn't there.
I have Raty at 18th in my rankings I did the other day. After watching Will's 20 minutes I did lower him a few positions because he has the tools but I think he lacks the high end hockey IQ. |

There's an open thread. Post your stuff. You want to judge, I hope you got something to back it up. |

its a shame you couldn't/wouldn't explain/answer how a 24 year old with 6 years of professional experience is equal to an 18/19 year old in his first season of pro hockey.... |

Do you think that Laffy is crying in his dressing room stall every game because he isn't going to have a chance at the calder because someone older is going to win it. Maybe he should have asked to wait another year or two then before coming into the league. |

Thats just it - I didn't judge Faber - you did. I don't pretend to know how a prospects career is gonna turn out after watching a few junior games/highlights on youtube. Last I heard he admits to watching a lot of games and checks in on prospects - the same as you. What makes your opinion better than his? |

For the same reason guys have been in the Ahl for years and then win the Calder. They're still rookies in the NHL. |

Maybe. He's not even close to winning it, there's quite a few rookies of various ages doig better. Just like petey beat out guys of various ages when he won. |

My opinion isn't "better" than his. I never said that at all. It wasn't even implied.
I was just calling him a wanna be because he had moved a prospect down 2-5 spots 3 days in between. Sam Consentino does his once a month and he probably does it more often than anyone else I've seen.
I'll wink next time so you can see the humour in what I'm saying if you don't find it funny. My humour isn't your humour. I'm okay with that as long as you are. |

There are players of various ages always joining the league. It is what it is. |

Don't know who said anything about hurting feelings or crying?? Where does that argument factor in? And how's it relevant? OR were you trying to be funny....? if so, you're not.
All I said (and I believe Don was saying) is that a 24 year old rookie and a 18 year old rookie are quite different. If/when Kaprisov wins the calder I won't see it as impressive in any way. |

I commented to Neem about it. You don't like what I say, so I don't comment on yours.
I can handle razzing each other take it, give it.
I'm not going to have this conversation every time with you because I have an opinion, doesn't mean that mine is better than someone else's.

People are so concerned about MTL for the last playoff spot. If Cgy wins tonight, they are only 3 games behind. Sutter going to have that team rolling pretty soon. - manvanfan
I'm not convinced on the Flames just yet. They came out guns ablazing not too long ago and everyone had them making the PO's lots need to go their way to get in. It's just reality for MTL they just ain't that good. If the Flames win the next two vs MTL in regulation MTL will be sweating. |
