Why? 23/4 isn't old, he's played on small ice a coupls times before this year. Lankinen, Smith and Kap. Kap takes it as a legit star in the making. Laff not on the ballot. Maybe if he stays hot here, but unlikely - neem55
What’s a forwards prime these days? 25? How much would Hoglander produce if he was 4 years older? 22 should be the age limit imo. But it’s completely subjective. Hansen was on the radio yesterday and he said he isn’t surprised with his season (they played together). He was really high on him |

No, I'm not convinced at all. When players/"rookies" have had 3-6 seasons of pro hockey under their belts - compared to an 18/19 year old - thats a significant difference and I don't see it as equal in any way. |

Green also says one of the reasons Juolevi hasnt played as much as he would like is because of the cap.
#Canucks - VanHockeyGuy
Crock of poop.
When Green talks he says the right things most of the time. I think he gets parts of it. Lack of execution over the years by most. It's been 4 years and the team has remained inconsistent. With a lot of roster transition. |

@ChrisFaber39
On the show today, top prospect Fabian Lysell checks in from Texas as he is set to take part in the U18s with team Sweden.
I really like this kid if the Canucks end up picking 8-12.

It’s a great interview with Fabian Lysell. He joins from the U18s to talk about his season, the excitement about the 2021 Draft and growing up watching Elias Pettersson.
Lysell could be there for the Canucks if they pick between 10-15 and that would be a dream come true for him.

The list of 23-25 winners is long. The award is for first year NHLers, not teens only or some bs |

So a kid in his D + 7 season is equivalent to Laffy in his D + 1 Season. Disagree they should both be eligible |

I agree what do you think about Aatu Raty, he's a Finn and was a possible projected number one overall last year for this years draft. He's fallen a bit (likely 8-12)but he's a centre and has some of the same things as Podkolzin(he's fallen down after looking like a possible no 1)
