Of course it was.
I am sure it has nothing to do with the Megna and Chaput types in the lineup.😉

How many times in the history of the NHL has a player that was claimed off waivers turned out to be anything other than below average? I can think of two: Martin Gelinas and Aaron Volpatti. Maybe Frank C0Rrado if you want to be generous.

Yup.

The team is what I expected from them though. Decent enough goaltending, an average defense, and some decent players in the top of the lineup.
The team chemistry and systems, well that is below average, as is the depth.
After 7 years of drafting, you would think the drafting guru, would have some decent depth players to fill in, rather than the Megna and Chaput waiver pickups, that Benning has supplied for the team.
Oh well, always next year.

So, we're not planning the parade this morning?
I guess we have to wait for the next win.

Martin Gelinas is by far the best but Jeff Cowan had a notable time in Vancouver and maybe Steve Staios who went on to play three seasons with the Canucks?

It was a pretty boring game. Neither team has a lot of spunk.

This is the first year I have just wanted clarity within the organization. Everything has seemed to go the opposite way. A reset would be best. Not a full one.

He meant retool on the fly while staying competitive. It's a day by day thing.

Did Volpatti and Corrado not clearly indicate my level of seriousness?
