To be fair he's also had the most top picks. He's had 5 top 10 and 4 in the top 7, and we're still on pace for another one. In this day and age of scouting and technology I'd hope you'd hit on a few picks. - golfingsince

Light travel sched makes life much easier.
2 doormats to load up on.
The top 4 teams didn’t use recent lotto luck to be good. The others suck still. - Nighthawk
Everyone has a light travel schedule within the division so that makes no sense. Also, the Sens are as much of a doormat as anyone else......they just play in a weaker division. Are you really going to say the Rags 58 points in unimpressive because they play NJ and Buffalo? They play the top 4 twice as many times.
They're going to be a really good team, their two young draft picks are just getting started. They've also never had the 1st overall pick since 1965 so maybe they were due.
I do much more than post line-ups.
My worst habit is talking hockey in here.
If TG is a goner no probs with Gallant. I’ve gone along with that in the past.
Still need a Prez & I said Francis many times. As for FA being JB’s boss that is real big problem.
As for Sutter idc if a legit 3C is found. Nobody poses a replacement.
Overall ppl just get rid of ppl without a plan. - Nighthawk
None of us have a plan because we’re not actually making the decisions. We don’t talk to NHL people, we don’t know who might actually be available. All we know is which rejects are out there without a job
Also, isn’t Francis in Seattle now?
Yes, google confirms that. So your plan is to hire a guy that just got hired somewhere else?

There have been many names mentioned over the years but what do we have to do come up with a fresh 6 every year ? - golfingsince
General managers are almost always fired in the off season, when there is less pressure on the organization to fill that role quickly. It’s clearly ok for a billion dollar company to fire their GM without knowing who they will hire but it’s a travesty for fans to suggest it without knowing the solution...

Having people in place before we fire people is what keeps getting us into this mess in the first place.
I have added CanuckDon to my short list of people to interview for the vacancy, and reuby to the short people on the list.
