I agree about the strange timing on the DiPietro move. It seems just so odd considering that if the Canucks lose another couple games their playoff hopes will be dead and there would be time to get him in some games. I like Silovs, but here's hoping we don't see him forced to play this year.

Been checking out a fair amount of players for upcoming draft, over the past 3 months, some not bad players into 4th round.
I have only been focusing on centre and defense, with an eye on 3 goalies for for late in the draft.
Be real nice getting an extra pick in the top 3 rounds.

The difference being of course is Sutter fits here for another season or two...Edler doesn't...

I think he will be around for a few years, but under a better coach with systems that actually work and are simpler.
He will be an alright 3rd liner, but this kid has been so frustrating, I would rather they get what they can for him.
Maybe try trade a couple of our duds like Jake and Schmidt to Boston for their dud,Jake and Carlo.

Got a kick out of another site mentioning about the Canucks roster being "A sea of Granlunds".
Included in that group were Hawryluk, Boyd, Vesey, Highmore, MacEwen, Motte and Michaelis, a bunch of low event players.
