I think if Jim is still the GM he will prioritize getting a deal done with Eddy. I wonder if a deal isn’t offered if he will look to extend his career. Doesn’t seem likely, but athletes often have trouble accepting when it’s time to quit.

It won’t be no $1m deal if he does come back. Neither will Hamonic. Salary cap and improving is going to be fascinating this off season.

Doesn't change much however. FLA, ARX/PHX, CAR and few other clubs should have been relocated or retracted years ago. The league should be retracting not expanding but it is what it is. But Buttman wants 20 teams in the PO's so it's coming and the talent pool will continue to get watered down.

Personally, I don’t think any team that’s won the Stanley Cup should be relocated (ie Carolina). To me it just seems to diminish the significance of the cup.
