Leonard Fournette just won one 2 months ago.
Bucs also had the best run defence in the league.
Brady also threw up all over himself against both the Saints and Packers yet some how played in the Super Bowl.
Figure that one out - Pegullaville
I remember why I stopped this banter.
Wipe your nose, it's running 🙊
Again, top 3 rb winning the superbowl, not 4th ☝️
Again, you must be thrilled passing on QB's again.

the jet's o line was beyond brutal
"Overall, however, it was a disappointing season for the offensive line in New York. They allowed pressure in 2.5 seconds or less on 28% of their dropbacks — the worst rate in the NFL. The line wasn’t creating many lanes in the run game, either. The Jets averaged just 1.1 yards per carry before contact per rushing attempt in 2020 (30th)"

they had pathetic TE's
other then crowder, who missed a few games, their WR core was terrible
I doubt signing Kroft and Keelan Cole changes things for 2021 - homiedclown
Just look what Robby Anderson did away from the jets. 40 more receptions in Car then his yearly average in NY. For a guy that is a deep threat, giving the QB time for a play to develop is a must. It’s also why you saw Perriman not do anything, as he’s fast, but never enough time to let him get downfield. |

I’m not thrilled with Drew Lock.
Impossible to know though that Fields or Jones will be the answer too though.
They liked Lance, well San Fran did too

Brady was average the 3 playoff games leading to the SB.
He was elite against the Chiefs and needed 10 points to win.
Fraudulent SB MVP - Pegullaville
5 qbs picked in the first 15 picks
0 running backs
Again, you are continuing to argue that running and stopping the run is more important than a top qb?
Yes, in the past, rushing was more important at times in winning the superbowl.
Rarely in today's nfl. It's all about passing and qb play

White definitely deserved that MVP. Guy was a beast for their defense. |

Fair enough.
I'd be a little worried about the 17 games started with lance. Makes me think of the Bill's lb they picked from penn state after a good senior year.
Aaron maybin picked around 10 or 11?

I don’t think you should take a RB in the first round tbh. You can find a good running back anywhere
However you do need to be able to run the ball. |

Has not changed the 3 years that this debate has gone on and off.

Boss,
I like Darnold. Cool he is boys with Allen and glad i can root for him now. Hope it blows up in the Jets' face, but I think they got the best QB in the draft.
What'll the Bills do today? Kinda hoping they just take their medicine and stay put in the order. I saw a multi-round mock at one point talking about a safety from Missouri. Joshua Bledsoe. I think they were saying like 4th round and the brief writeup sounded like a McBeane type player. Gotta make sure we have some insurance for Hyde and Poyer.

i think the bills are in great shape...
for instance they can watch the board unfold and if one of those cb's become available in the low-mid 50's, they could trade up, but make sure they keep their third rounder...
i'm keeping an eye on c, creed humphrey to see where he lands...he could be the answer at center next season, maybe even this season if needed...another o-linemen to keep an eye on would be landon d!ckerson who's injury history might push him down to that 60 area...
cb, iol are the two areas where i could see them pick one in the 2nd and the other in the third
edit: i would even consider lb nick bolton if he fell to them...gives them options next season should something go wrong with edmunds - Michael Pachla
The optimism is comforting. Good insight on those guys too, as with most, I don't know a lot about guys outside the first round or early second.
I like the idea of investing into replacements at this point too. We have Hughes and Addison replacements in theory. Getting one for Morse is an interesting thought, especially given his injury history and contract.
Have to think one corner is taken today, you're spot on there too. |

You’re not going to win if you don’t have top 15 QB play. It is imperative that you have competency at the QB position.
I don’t believe you absolutely need a top 3-5 QB though as long as you can run the ball effectively and you can build a strong defensive unit.
This will probably come up another 20 times over the next year and people will continue to bring up Drew Lock (who clearly isn’t a top 15 QB barring a Josh Allen type 3rd year leap which is nearly statistically impossible) however that’s my stance on it.
A lot of posters don’t agree with the opinion, rightfully so and I understand that. |

i just did some reeding on various player, checked in on some mocks, listened to some bills stuff...who knows...ya gotta trust beaner as he's been doing yeoman's work as he's put them in an enviable position of having their skill players in place while having some strong talent throughout, meaning they can really go bpa while staying focused on areas to upgrade and, if need be, looking towards the near future |

Can't question Beane at this point, he has earned our trust.
I want them to trade up to take Samuel or Williams out of UNC to complete the offense...
