no teams have cap space
they could try to trade him to the falcons for matt ryan I guess - homiedclown
I’m sure there are a few teams out there that would create cap space if it meant acquiring Aaron Rodgers.
49ers, Broncos, Panthers, WFT could all due it, especially with the post June 1st designation.
Rodgers signing an extension could also push his cap hit down as they can reallocate bonuses and what not to future years.
If the Chiefs can make it work, anyone can

It's funny to hear that the the Packers have flown out several times to beg Rodgers to take them back.

Is the dude that butt hurt over them drafting a qb? Or does Woodley just not want to be in Wisconsin? |

He surely has the red ass but I think this time he (rightly) has seen that management doesn't know what the hell they are doing. They were on the cusp of the SB last year and they go out and draft a qb and a RB in the first 3 rounds when those were already their strengths?
GR just said something interesting. Since 2008 the packers have drafted 1 skill guy in the first round (and that was Jordan Love, the QB).

McCarthy is a laughably bad coach who hung around forever because of rodgers.
They draft terrible and it has never mattered because of rodgers.
He just watched Brady switch to a team that had good players and signed even more good players and immediately win a superbowl. There shouldn't be any reason in rodgers mind for him not to think he wasted his career in Green Bay
The dude should have 5+ superbowls
edit: not to mention he's coming off a season that ended with perhaps the dumbest field goal decision of all time |

If that 49ers proposal was real, how could the Packers not at least consider it?!? |

Would be kinda funny if he ended up with Da Bears. Or followed Favre’s footsteps to Minnesota. |

I think that is ultimately where he goes. From what I read it seems as though they think that they can try one last time to get him to stay. |

Also per sources: as of last night Rodgers was convinced he was headed to San Francisco. Draft day is the best... https://t.co/JImkjbixA3
Sources: The Packers reportedly told Aaron Rodgers they were going to trade him in the off season, then backed off. It’s been a bleep show between them ever since. And within the last week Rodgers told the team.. trade or no trade I’m not coming back. Buckle up folks
Understand this Aaron Rodgers thing has been building for a while: Packers fired his QB coach after 2017 season.. Aaron campaigned for someone else to get the GM job, went to Guetenkuenst. Then they trade BACK into the 1st round last year to take his successor.

Chicago going to let some fans in for their final 2 home games. Here’s what their coach had to say about it,
Colliton on fans coming back: "It's always good to know when to shoot on the power play, so we'll get that."

Might as well try it anyways
JAX would end up with 3 picks in the 1st
Us & Tampa could really go in any direction,
so it’s conceivable they wouldn’t wanna risk that guy not being there at 33 |

I think he wants to go to SF
But who knows if GB would trade him where he wants to go??
Denver seems like an AFC team that would make sense |
