it is completetely ridiculous to fire John Davidson, absolutely absurd
- jimbro83

What the (frank) does that accomplish? How are existing players going to take this?

This makes no sense. Is it really April Fool's day because I'm just at a complete loss for words.

Why not fire Quinn too?

The biggest loss here is that we can't use JD to lure Boone Jenner over here now...

Probably not the biggest loss here

Absolutely absurd to fire either one of them in my opinion. This brings back bad memories

So Dolan and Davidson/Gorton didn't see eye-to-eye to begin with, and those two not backing his statement was the final straw?

Remember Drury was going to interview with other teams, but decided not to? Was this potentially in the works for a while then? This is nuts

Assistant GM Chris Drury is believed to be the leading candidate to fill the post of GM while Dolan conducts a hunt for a president that is expected to have Mark Messier at the top of the wish list.

I don't see anyone in here lol

I can't wrap my head around this one. Gorton completely revamped the entire organization in a matter of a few years and then gets poopcanned by his guitar-playing billionaire dippoop owner. That's unfathomably bad.

Wouldn’t be surprised now if Quinn is fired at the end of the year. I’m stunned right now
