Does anyone else wish Hextall was permitted to finish his sage rebuild. It seems his predecessors penchant to rush prospects has hampered their development. It a shame to see all of the assets floundering under the failed Fletcher/Vignault duumvirate. |

In all seriousness.... if the drought is 60 years (frank) it just don’t win one ever. Why pain the fans with that long await for another taste. Much less painful to never have won. |

You just told Dancer wasn’t saying, exactly what he was saying. Which was in agreement with my statements about Ghost. I don’t even understand how you misread his post. |

He’s having a good year in your mind yet you want him on Seattle ..you actually are clueless, or your forgetting what your debating....either way your not very bright.

Lose 3 straight to a team that lost 10 straight. Just forfeit the last few games already. |

I liked hextall but he treated his prospects like royalty. I think he got too attached to them. He had a single track mind it seemed in how to build |

They need to be nuked. Cleared out. Trading vets and retaining large amounts of money as well as sending picks. Whatever it takes |

And yet he never wanted to call them up.
I give his scouting dept credit, but as a GM he was largely terrible. |

Pretty sure someone like you would never do a number on me...I simply question your hockey smarts by suggesting ghost is having a good year. That is just an ignorant comment from someone who’s knowledge of the sport is inept. I commented on his comment...not his rebuttal. I could care less what other posters say, just ones that direct comments at me...especially when they obviously aren’t very smart. |

So let me get this right because this is what I’ve learned from this argument so far...
You believe I’m dumb for pointing Ghost has had a good season to his standards because he’s having a good offensive year as an offensive defenseman. Your counter is, he’s having a terrible year because he’s been bad defensively all season long...which is true but he’s always been bad defensively. Do you not see what’s wrong with this argument?
For example, Phil Myers has been bad this season and has seen numerous healthy scratches this season. Ghost was that guy, last season, not this season. Ghost has made steps. Ghost has been one defender keeping Myers in the press box. See how this works?
Than another poster agrees with me but you don’t see the agreement? Like, at all?? That’s actually hilarious. |

Regardless...the organization is not in a very good place. At this point it really doesn’t matter who’s responsible just who’s going to fix it. |

Your argument is ghost is having a good year...he’s not. His offensive numbers are not good for a player that is somewhat of a liability in his own end. Guys having “good” years are not healthy scratches and most certainly do not clear waivers. Myers in the press box is because of his own struggles. It’s not because of Ghost having a good year....the other poster suggested in his original post ghost has had the backing of other dmen covering for his mistakes in the past but still suggested he has not been good. I personally don’t think that’s an excuse for his struggles.
Yes ghost has been better then his abysmal season a year ago, but to suggest he’s had a good year is dumb...dumb beyond belief...but apparently par for the course where your concerned. |
