FA has not worried about putting money into the team. They are normally up against the cap. Allocation of the budget though with a small front office. Rookie GMs and coaches. The things he skimps on a bit sometimes looks like it hurts the on ice performance.

Don't be sensitive, I wasnt deflecting anything. Comparing past GMs to Benning is pointless. No Canuck GM has ever got us a cup, some closer than others, but ultimately if you don't get your team a cup, it's a failure of your job. Benning is in there now, so judging and critiquing his body of work is what we are doing.

23 players on a team. You do the math with 1 first round pick per year given to you.

Benning seems to do a good job at drafting, for the most part his top 10 picks are successes. The rest of the picks are hit and miss with some good ones in there. He's been trying to build a winner his entire tenure here. He's been collecting more and more top 10 picks because he sucks at building a team through trades and signings.

Also, it would take 12 drafts if it's a first rounder + another pick that makes it. Don't even need some trusty paper to do that math on.

For the people who support Benning don't you get tired of defending almost every move he makes while being a bottpm 5 team for roughly 7 years? It's just confusing to me.

Talk coach owner whatever don't care Benning is running the ship for the most part and Holy crap is he terrible.

He wouldn't even look at the camera in his zoom interview what 2 weeks ago. I understand that doesn't matter for his ability to run a hockey team but because he's failed so far I'm sure effected the way he did that interview because man oh man does he suck.

I think everyone seems to forget that Linden was MG’s replacement and he was the one who hired Benning. They should have kept Benning but a found a credible replacement for Linden who could prevent him from messing up the things he sucks at.
