CBA & League precedent (i.e. Slava Voynov, 2014-2015) would likely be indefinite suspension of a player under criminal investigation for a violent crime, and possible termination of the player's contract if the player is convicted. I don't believe the team gets any cap relief during the suspension.
A player is accused of sexual assault and some fans are wondering how it effects cap space at the end of a disastrous season.

Doesn’t matter who it is, got to feel sorry for all involved. Just another distraction in a lost season.
There’s so much misinformation on this whole subject. Covid has destroyed many relationships. It spurns hate among friends, family and people in general. Too many different beliefs on the pandemic.
When Trudeau banned flights to Mexico and Caribbean destinations, we chose to change our flights and get out of the sh!tshow. Now I’m so glad we did, there’s no talk of the disease here. I know no one that’s got it here. City requires masks and temperatures taking at the entrance, but there’s little precautions in Sayulita where we live. I attend the weekly baseball game here, drink beer and eat peanuts in the stands. I sit with my Mexican amigos while enjoying the game
The only Covid news I get is from back home or here on Hockeybuzz. It’s crazy how it’s so consuming for some, pouting fingers at others because their beliefs are different.
BC is in worse shape since we left, we were going to come home at the end of May, but why? I’ve given up on Facebook and other social media outlets because some people are crazy.
Don’t worry about what others do, they may not view this the same way as you, but that doesn’t make them wrong either. Do what you feel is right for you and your family, enjoy yourself and stay safe.
