Likely couldn't giveaway Virtanen. Should have taken whatever was offered last summer. - MisterBrown

I've been saying they should have got rid of Virtanen instead of McCann when that trade went down. |

I’m ready to move on from Benning.
But am I the only one having a hard time blaming the coach for the teams performance?
I mean if you have a sure fire legendary coach on the back burner and want to bring him in to shake things up, I get it, but otherwise I just don’t see the logic. |

yup, clean house. - VanHockeyGuy
The desperation vibes are a bit much with him right now with the pulled goalies being down 3 and 4 goals.
It’s like greener, you’re down 3. And 14 points out a playoff spot
Just chill with the empty net formation.

It was a good game by the depleted Canucks. Too many challenges to overcome.
Meanwhile Sens let Habs off the hook. No breaks for Canucks in this cluster f#ck of a season. |

We need to start with the basics and learn how to play at 5v5
Vancouver is dead last by a substantial margin in odd man rushes
I don’t think green knows how to coach 5v5 |

Benning has to go and the next GM bring in his own coach. Patrick Roy is available. Let him GM. |

You can bring in whoever you think the best coach is and the results would be the same in this situation.
That said there is just such a stink on the Canucks that ownership may need to change things up by cleaning house. |

Lol... another rookie GM... that'll go over well. |

Roy has done well running the Remparts, wins wherever he goes. Ultra competitive. Haven't had a guy like that run the team. |

I like Green but at the same time I wouldn't double down. Give him a 1 or 2 year extension. He prob wants 3 to 4.
End of the day I've said it before ill say it again the team just instead very good. The combo of gm coach and players isn't working. Gotta change something and I would personally start with a new GM and go from there. |

He was Coach/VP of Hockey Ops with the Avs. - Sir Edward Longsha
and that makes him an experienced NHL GM |

After 7 years the only dman Benning has drafted that is a nhl player is quinn Hughes and that 100 percent sums up the problems with our team.
Anyone almost 30 sell them now for younger players and picks.
Miller gone
Schmidt gone
Actually build something like frick come on its not that hard to see. We've been I believe the 4th worst team total the last 6 years because I believe Ottawa is now better than us and we are talking about being close to winning lmao. Good bye GMJB you should give Mr Aqualini his money back |

He had the last say in Hockey decisions, he played, Remparts experience and he's passionate. |

The D (beyond Hughes who still has plenty of room to grow and improve) needs a complete overhaul. This has been an issue for YEARS even before Benning got on board. Benning needs to go, this isn't even a question, but so should the entire front office, coaching staff and everyone save Pettersson, Miller, Boeser, Horvat, Pearson, Hughes and Demko are expendable and should be attempted to be traded or cut. It's time for a GM like Burke (not saying rehire him but that type of GM) willing to make hard decisions and play hardball in contract negotiations and trade negotiations and get the best deals possible for the team in tandem with a coach willing to be hard nosed enough to hold players accountable for their actions on and off the ice with benchings, scratches, fines and suspensions and demotions even the stars on team (if appropriate). |

Are you part of the broken clock gang That said as the Canuck roster fills up with draft picks we'll see if FA wants to give JB another 2 years. |
