It's ironic that when Benning first took over 7 years ago, he said he wanted to change the culture of the team. Here we are 7 years later, and yet the culture seemingly needs to change again, amongst a slew of other things that need changing.

Those players are all 24 years old now. Shows the time it takes for players to develop in the league also.

Players like Elias Lindholm, Sean courturier, Vincent trocheck. All 24 when they had break out seasons.

Digging up ghosts who had a cup of coffee as Canucks is a reach. No one likes trading away young players to see them do well. Even with Kassian there are gripes. Book it there will be a cacophony of sour grapes when JV shows well elsewhere.

Gaudette scoring again like last season shows a change of scenery or wake up call got him producing again. Who knows maybe his Boston area wife is happier closer to home and gave him good vibes.

Except Ebola is 95% fatal and even if you survive, over half of your organs are liquified and most people with the proper medication don't even have the HIV antibodies anymore. COVID is bad, so is the flu in vulnerable people, let's not get into which virus is worse because no one wins regardless.
